私自身も11/09の英検1級2次試験に向けて2次試験対策をスタートしました
これからしばらく、予想されるトピックに対する論点整理とスピーチ原稿を紹介していきます

「子どもがスマホを持つことを禁止すべきか」というトピックに関して論点とスピーチ原稿を書いてみました
下記の論点は、3級/準2級/2級/準1級/1級のどれでも使えると思います（2次面接＋英作文）
結論：
・禁止すべきではない。
・スマホは現代社会において必須のツールであり、これが無いと生活が不便になる。
・使い過ぎやSNSの危険性などは適切に規制すれば対応可能である。
① スマホは超小型のコンピューターであり、現代社会の生活に直結する様々な機能が入っている。これが無いと快適に生活することができない。スマホは現代社会に必須のツールである。
② スマホを使うと、ゲームやyoutube動画閲覧などの様々なエンターテインメントが楽しめるが、使い過ぎによる悪影響は親が規制したり、本人が自覚してマネージすれば解決できる。スマホの使い過ぎは、アニメや漫画の読みすぎ、パチンコに入りびたりという悪癖と何ら変わらない。
③ スマホを使うと、様々な情報・知識を得ることが可能である。特にyoutubeには図書館で本や辞典を読むよりもはるかに有用な教養番組があり、大半が無料で提供されている。これらは積極的に利用すべきである
英文スピーチ原稿
Children should not be banned from owning smartphones. In modern life, the smartphone is a practical, everyday tool. A blanket prohibition would only make life harder and widen digital gaps. The better path is to guide children and apply smart, targeted rules that reduce risks while keeping benefits.
First, a smartphone is a pocket computer packed with functions that link directly to daily life: maps and transit apps, digital payments, school portals, two factor verification, and emergency alerts. Without these, many tasks become slower or inaccessible. For many families, the device is simply essential.
Second, phones do offer games and videos that can be overused, but excess is manageable. Parents can set family rules, use screen time limits, and keep device free hours. Children can also learn self control. Overuse is like any other habit: too much TV or comics, solved by awareness, routines, and support.
Third, smartphones unlock knowledge. Children can access dictionaries, language apps, and high quality educational videos; many YouTube channels and open courses explain science, history, and art better than a shelf of books, and most are free. Used well, the phone becomes a portable library.
Risks are real: harmful content, scams, and cyberbullying. Yet similar dangers exist offline. The answer is not a legal ban on children’s phones, but education, age appropriate settings, and firm platform enforcement. Protect free and equal access while teaching wise use.231
