Human societies will always have a negative effect on the environment?
An impending issue to discuss in the world is that human societies will always have a negative effect on the environment. I disagree. I’d like to explain my opinion with three reasons in this essay.
First of all, in terms of making carbon-free society, whole countries in the world set up the goal “Carbon-free society by 2030”; every country makes an effort to reduce CO2 emission less than now. I believe that such an effort will lead to a positive effect on the environment of the earth.
Secondly, in light of giving up plastic products, we try to reduce using products made from plastic. For example, major super market stores in Japan, plastic spoons and forks have been replaced by bamboo or paper ones. Moreover, some stores stop distributing plastic bags to consumers.
Finally, in regard of renewable energies, many countries change their industrial energy from fossil or burnable one to renewable energies such as solar, wind power or thermal ones. For consumers, they want to contribute to establish environmentally-friendly world. For instance, they try not to buy products that are produced by using fossil fuels.
I’d like to emphasize again, making carbon-free society, giving up plastic products, using renewable energies are three reasons why I disagree that human societies will always have a negative effect on the environment.
Instead, I believe that we will always have a positive effect on the environment. (233 words)
