Company A consulted us about adding new countries to their already internationally registered trademark to support their overseas business expansion.

Company A wished to efficiently expand the scope of their rights by utilizing their existing international registration, rather than filing individual applications in each country. Therefore, we adopted the post-designation procedure based on the Madrid Protocol and prepared the prescribed post-designation form (MM4). Since there were three additional countries, we calculated the costs based on the individual and common fees for each country.
