Prior Art Search for Technologies

1. Consultation Details
Company A consulted us regarding the possibility of obtaining intellectual property rights (particularly patent rights) for technologies a, b, c, and d, which are currently under development.

They also requested guidance on the feasibility of filing applications and future development strategies from the perspective of novelty and inventiveness for each technology.

2. Solution
Based on the consultation details, we conducted a prior art search using the Japan Patent Information Platform (J-PlatPat) for each of the four identified issues related to technologies a, b, c, and d.

Specifically, we conducted a comprehensive search combining keyword searches for each issue, extracting and analyzing relevant prior art documents. Furthermore, we compared the extracted documents with each technology and conducted a detailed examination from the perspective of novelty and inventiveness.

As a result, for all four issues, no prior art documents closely related to the technologies were identified, and we determined that there is a high probability of retaining novelty and inventiveness at this time. Therefore, we concluded that it is possible to obtain intellectual property rights with the current technology content.
