富士市・富士宮市で在宅医療に携わっている薬剤師の栗原憲二です。

病院を受診したあと、私たちは自然な流れで「処方箋」を受け取ります。
そして多くの場合、何気なくそのまま病院の前にある薬局に向かう――。

この行動は、決して間違いではありません。むしろ合理的です。
ただ一方で、日々の現場にいる立場からすると、こう感じることがあります。

「その処方箋、本当に“そこ”で良いのでしょうか？」

今回は、処方箋をどこに持っていくべきかというテーマについて、薬剤師の視点から整理してみたいと思います。
結論を押しつけるのではなく、皆さまがご自身の生活に合わせて選択できるような材料をお伝えできればと思います。

まず基本から確認しておきましょう。

病院やクリニックで診察を受けると、多くの場合、医師は「処方箋」を発行します。
この処方箋を保険薬局（いわゆる調剤薬局）に持っていくことで、薬剤師が内容を確認し、薬を調剤・交付します。

日本の医療制度では、この仕組みを「医薬分業」と呼びます。
医師が診断と処方を行い、薬剤師がその内容を第三者としてチェックすることで、安全性を高める仕組みです。

保険調剤であれば、自己負担は通常1〜3割。
さらに自治体によっては、18歳以下の医療費が助成されるケースもあります。
