1．ご相談内容
株式会社A社様より、現在の事業において使用を予定している商標Bについて、商標登録の可能性に関する調査および、登録可能と判断される場合の商標登録出願書類の作成についてご相談をいただきました。
なお、商標Bは、上段にローマ字表記「C」、下段にカタカナ表記「C」を配置した構成の商標です。

2．解決策
ご相談内容を踏まえ、特許情報プラットフォーム（J-PlatPat）を活用し、商標Bの構成名称である「C」について、商標検索および称呼類似検索を実施しました。検索に当たっては、対象となる区分X及び区分Yを考慮し、同一又は類似する先行登録商標の有無を調査しました。
その結果、区分X及び区分Yにおいて、名称「C」と同一又は類似する先行登録商標は確認されず、商標登録の可能性を阻害する要因は認められませんでした。
その後、A社様から現在の事業内容及び今後予定している商品・サービスについて詳細なヒアリングを実施し、区分Xに該当する指定商品及び区分Yに該当する指定役務を整理した上で、商標Bに係る商標登録出願書類の作成及び内容の検討を行いました。

1. Consultation Details
We were consulted by Company A regarding "Trademark B," which they plan to use in their current business operations. The request involved conducting a search to assess the feasibility of trademark registration and, if registration was deemed viable, preparing the necessary application documents.
Trademark B consists of the name "C" written in Roman characters on the upper line and the same name "C" written in Katakana characters on the lower line.

2. Solution
Based on the consultation, we utilized the Japan Platform for Patent Information (J-PlatPat) to conduct trademark and phonetic similarity searches for the name "C" (the constituent element of Trademark B). We investigated the existence of identical or similar prior registered trademarks, taking into account the relevant classes (Class X and Class Y).
The search results confirmed no identical or similar prior registered trademarks in Class X or Class Y, and no factors were identified that would impede the possibility of trademark registration.
Subsequently, we conducted a detailed interview with Company A regarding their current business activities and planned future products and services. After organizing the designated goods for Class X and the designated services for Class Y, we prepared the application documents for Trademark B and reviewed their contents.
