1. Consultation Details
The client consulted our firm regarding the preparation of a patent valuation report in order to objectively demonstrate the value of the patent rights owned by the client in connection with a contemplated business transfer.

2. Solution
First, our firm analyzed the technical value of the subject patent rights by examining the structure and effects of the invention, the problems associated with prior technologies, and the key factors supporting the novelty and inventive step of the patent.
We also reviewed the relationship between the patent rights and third-party rights and confirmed that the subject patent did not infringe any patents owned by other parties. Furthermore, we conducted a comparative analysis of similar products introduced to the market after the patent was granted and stated in the valuation report that the technology covered by the patent continued to demonstrate superior performance and competitive advantages.
