英検1級ライティング 禁断の戦略7
本記事は独学・国内学習による
英検1級保持者が書きました。
今回も僕が英検1級の準備としてノートに書き殴った80題の
答案をそのまま公開します。
今から見返して見ると、恥ずかしいミスもあります。
制限時間25分で、本番と同じ状況で書いているため
スペリングも自信がないものがあります。
それでも修正することなく公開する意図を2つ説明しておきます。
1個目は、
ネット上を探しても全く提示されていない合格ラインを突いた
現実答案を示すことにより、英検1級受験者の参考となると考えるためです。
2個目は、
英作文問題 完全制覇、などの定番参考書の模範答案では、
表現と理由の使いまわしを避けたうえで、洗練された完璧答案を提示しています。
このような市販の教材はいずれも
理由と表現の使いまわし発想が無いことから学習効率が低くなります。
ライティングに表現のバリエーションなど不要なのです。
資格ごとき相手と戦う際に
本質的な英語の向き合い方は不要と割り切るべきなのです。
全ての問題で使う表現、論理展開を
予めストックするのが現実的な対策であるはずです。
実際に
使いまわし表現を駆使した答案を見て
大いに笑ってください。
念のためですが、
僕の答案を見て使いまわし表現をそのまま流用してくださいね。
という趣旨で公開しているのではありません。
そもそも、
借り物の表現、借り物の英語は身体に刻まれることなく
忘れてしまします。
ではどうするのか。
上で挙げたようた英検対策本の模範解答をじっくり読んでください。
その際、宝探しのように光る表現との出会いを意識してください。
自分が心の底から「使いたい」と思えた表現のみが
心の表現ストックに刻まれて自分のモノになるのです。

There have been a lot of debates and discussions about whether free trade will benefit third world countries. Some people argue that it will have detrimental effects on local traditions and cultures of third world countries. However, I believe that it will have beneficial impacts on third world countries by creating huge job opportunities, fostering interdependance among nations, and alleviating invironmental problems.
One of teh main reasons for my argument is that the free trade can be contributing factor to creating huge job opportunities in third world nations. This will bring about boosting local economy and motivation for higher education among young people there.
Second, what we also have to keep in mind is that free trade will lead to fostering interdependance among nations and at the same time interaction of goods and people. This means mutual understanding and respect will be developed, thus leading to world peace and stability.
Third, there has been growing concern about environmental problems particulary in developing nations. According to experts, technological transfer into third world is one of the best effective ways to deal with this problem. Without free trade, without interaction among nations, the technological transfer would be unlikely to happen.
When taking these points mentioned above into consideration, it is obvious that free trade will enable third world countries to boost their economies.

There have been a lot of debates and discussions about whether space exploration should be continued. Some people argue that it will bring about progress of science and technology. This may be the case to some extent but I believe it will have detrimental effects on society due to potential risk of military transfer, matter of priority, and problem of space junk.
One of the main reasons for my argument is that the space technology can be likely to be transfered into military technology. In fact, U.S. government point out possibility of being attacked by Chaina’s misiles from space. Under current situation, there has been growing concern about space war. We should stop insiting fear and tention under the name of of space exploration.
Second, it is not logical to explor space when there are a lot of environmental problems to deal with on our planet. Althogh space exploration can be thought of as promising technology of gaining resourses, today’s priority is rather exploration of underwater.
Third, there has been growing concern about space junk. Unlike our planet, there is not a clear guidline about how to manage unused space crafit, which is root case of this problem. Considering this situation, the unresponsible exploration can lead to devastating accident.
When taking these factors into consideration, it is obvious that space exploration should not be continued.
このような答案を公開するのは恥ずかしい気持ちとの闘いです。
今回、自分の作成した答案を見返してみて、文法やスペリングのミスは
もとより、論理展開でも気になる箇所に気が付いてしまっています。
それでも勇気をもって、ありのままの答案を公開しています。
英検1級合格レベルをクリアしている答案だからです。

⑤ 第1パラグラフ第3文で理由3個を名詞化して列挙
⑥ 文末分詞構文を用いて因果関係明示

③ 第4パラグラフで3個目の理由提示では、Third, を避けて
In addition to these aspects, what we have to keep in maind is that ～
④ 第1パラグラフの第2文から『譲歩』で強いアーギュメントを打ち出す。
両論併記になることから、字数稼ぎにもなります。
対立見解は1個の提示なので、すぐに思いつくため、時間も短縮できます。以下例文。
Some people argue that 対立見解 . This may be the case to some extent but I still strongly believe that 主張
⑤ 第1パラグラフで理由3個を名詞化して列挙します。
第2～4パラグラフでその理由を展開する際に、
第1パラグラフを見ながら構成を練ることが可能になり、
英文がスムーズに書けます。
対策本の模範解答ではたまに最終パラグラフで
理由3個をまとめてますが、
第1パラグラフに出現させる方が有利です。
⑥ 完全文, thus leading to/creating/bringing about 結果
「情報マシマシ」の技術です。
以下例文。
This means mutual understanding and respect will develop, thus creating world peace and stability.
⑦ パラグラフ2～4の第2文以降で、第1文を具体化、詳述する場合の詐欺的フレーズです。
以下例文。
According to experts, technological transfer into third world can be contributing factor
to dealing with this problems.
上記のexpertsが実在するか否かは英検の採点基準になりません。
よってある意味、詐欺的ではありますが万能フレーズとして重宝します。
