参議院議員の猪瀬氏の質疑に関して現場の薬剤師として思うこと
富士市富士宮市にて在宅医療に携わっている薬剤師の栗原です。
今日はふじやま薬局のマスコット、ふぁまクンと一緒に富士山に登ってきました。なにしろ、「ふじやま薬局」ですから^_^。
富士山は今はインバウンドで外国人の方々が大勢いらっしゃいました。私の子供たち、それから義理の息子たちも一緒です。登ったのは山梨県側の吉田口の開山日でしたのでテレビ局も多く来られていました。
義理の息子たちはハーフなので、テレビ局のインタビューも受けていました。
私は久しぶりの富士登山。息子たちはサッカーをやっているので、おそらく余裕で登れるんだろうとは思っていましたが、心配だったのは、私自身がついていけないこと・・。
私は普段の仕事の体力はあると思うのですが、別な筋肉の話であれば違う訳です。
そこで、富士登山のためのアプリを子供達の携帯にもインストールさせ、いざという時のために備えました。
ペットボトルは4本。栄養補給のためのシリアルバー、チョコレート、糖分などはしっかりと持たせました。
実際私はいきなり5号目から出遅れました。三男のトイレに付き合っている間に、興奮している子たちは、翔っていくではありませんか・・。私はふぁまくんと、自分のペースを保つことしかできませんでした。
多くの外国人の方々がいらっしゃいました。私たちは日程の都合もあり、ご来光は諦めて、朝早くに登り始めて夕方の下山を目指しました。
私も少しばかり、登山の経験があるので、準備すべきものは多少は心得てます。グリップの効いたシューズ、防寒具は必須です。
私の趣味は、登山系YouTuberの方々の番組を観ること・・。危ないところの映像なんかは、自分の経験で照らしてドキドキしてくるのです。それが良い気分転換になってます。
息子たちはやはり、快調に登っていきました。・・私自身は出だしの遅れと、股関節の痛みが出て、痛み止めを飲んでのチャレンジでした。
途中、雨も降りました。
でも楽しかった。息子たちは昼頃には山頂にたどり着き、無事、駐車場に戻ったと連絡がありました。私は9号目を前にして下山することにしました。
戻りは文字通り、暗闇と雨足の中、小さなライトを頼りに独りで下山。・・それが楽しかった。仕事のことを考えたりしてたら、時間が過ぎるのも忘れてました。
なかなか規制があって難しいものの、登山者に医薬品の需要はあるので、何か自分にできることはないかと思い巡らしたりして楽しい時間を過ごしました。さて、リフレッシュ^_^。

Today, I climbed Mt. Fuji with Famakun, the mascot of Fujiyama Pharmacy. After all, it’s 'Fujiyama Pharmacy.' ^_^
Mt. Fuji is now a popular destination with many international tourists. My children and my sons-in-law also joined us. Since we climbed from the Yamanashi side on the opening day of the Yoshida Trail, there were many TV stations present.
My sons-in-law are half-Japanese, so they were interviewed by the TV crews.
It had been a while since my last climb of Mt. Fuji. My sons play soccer, so I assumed they’d handle the hike easily. What I was really worried about was whether I could keep up.
While I think I have the stamina for my regular work, hiking requires different muscles.
So, I had my kids install a Mt. Fuji climbing app on their phones to be prepared for any situation.
We brought four bottles of water, cereal bars, chocolate, and other sugar sources for energy.
In reality, I fell behind right from the 5th station. While I waited with my third son for a bathroom break, the excited kids sprinted ahead… I could only keep pace with Famakun.
There were many international climbers. Due to scheduling, we gave up on seeing the sunrise and aimed to start early in the morning and descend by evening.
Having some hiking experience myself, I knew what to prepare—good grip shoes and warm clothing were essential.
One of my hobbies is watching mountaineering YouTubers. Watching footage of dangerous trails and comparing them to my experiences always gets my heart racing. It’s a great way to refresh.
As expected, my sons climbed steadily. I, however, started late and felt pain in my hip joint, so I had to take painkillers to keep going.
It also rained along the way.
But it was fun. My sons reached the summit around noon and called to let me know they had returned safely to the parking lot. As for me, I decided to descend just before reaching the 9th station.
On the way back, it was literally just me, the darkness, and the rain, relying on a small flashlight to find my way down. And honestly, it was fun. Thinking about work while hiking made time fly by.
Although there are strict regulations, there is certainly demand for medications among climbers. I spent some time thinking about what role I might play there. All in all, it was a refreshing day. ^_
