Special Lecture on"Man-yo Shu"

We’re creating new operas and songs in Japanese language, and you might get interested in our works.
I’d like to inform you of our special lecture in New York on October 4, 2025.

Our composer, Tomohiro HASHIZUME, will talk about his works which were created based on Japanese old literature, “Man-yo Shu.” Man-yo Shu is the oldest short poetry book compiled around the 8th and 9th century. He’s going to elaborate the composing process of these songs and some interesting stories in the history of that era. You’ll also enjoy listening some of his works, probably, humming or singing his songs as well.
This lecture is given for free. Pre- reservation required.
