1．ご相談内容
株式会社A社様より、「自社の新製品Bについて、他社の知的財産権との関係を確認したい。また、独自のデザイン性を活かして意匠登録が可能かを知りたい」とのご相談をいただきました。
製品Bは外観・形状に強い特徴があり、デザイン面からのブランド保護を重視されていました。

2．解決策
当所では、まず特許・実用新案の先行技術調査を実施。その結果、類似の技術的内容については他社が既に権利取得していることが判明しました。

1. Consultation Details
Company A contacted us with the following question: "We would like to confirm the relationship between our new product B and other companies' intellectual property rights. We also wanted to know whether we could utilize our unique design for a design registration."
Product B has a distinctive appearance and shape, and the firm prioritized protecting its brand from a design perspective.

2. Solution
Our firm first conducted a prior art search for patents and utility models. As a result, we discovered that other companies had already acquired rights to similar technical content.
However, when we conducted a design search for Product B's distinctive shape, we found no identical or similar designs.
Therefore, we proposed a design registration application to maximize protection of Company A's unique design, which is their strength.
