1．ご相談内容
株式会社A社様より、ドローンを活用して広告を実施する先進技術（技術B）についてご相談をいただきました。
「この技術に特許性はあるのか？」「すでに他社が使っているのでは？」――そんな知財に関する重要な確認を、弊所へご依頼いただきました。

2．調査・分析と判断
ご相談を受け、弊所では技術Bに関連する特許調査およびWeb上の技術情報調査を速やかに実施。
その結果、すでに類似する技術が他社によって実施されている事実を確認。さらに、同様の技術内容を含む動画像がインターネット上に公開されていることも判明しました。

これらの情報に基づき、技術Bについては特許出願に必要な「新規性」が認められないと判断されました。
特許を取得するには、世の中にまだ知られていない全く新しい技術であること（＝新規性）が不可欠です。

Patent research on advertising using drones

1. Consultation details
Company A consulted us about an advanced technology (technology B) that uses drones to carry out advertising.

"Is this technology patentable?" "Is it already being used by other companies?" - they asked us to confirm such important intellectual property issues.

2. Research, analysis and judgment
After receiving the consultation, our firm promptly conducted a patent search related to technology B and a search for technical information on the web.

As a result, we confirmed that a similar technology had already been implemented by other companies. Furthermore, we found that video containing similar technical content had been published on the Internet.

Based on this information, it was determined that technology B did not have the "novelty" required for a patent application.
To obtain a patent, it is essential that the technology is a completely new technology that is not yet known to the world (= novelty).
